Our Story
Between 2020 and 2022, Mohammad Shaker founded Alphazed — the first AI-led, language-agnostic platform for transforming any curriculum into its gamified digital twin, end-to-end. What started as a vision to make Arabic accessible to every child became a suite of award-winning apps that reached 95,000+ students in the first 13 months with zero marketing budget.
Together with Lamis Sandouk, an award-winning Arabic Literacy teacher, architect by degree, and UI/UX Designer and Gamification specialist for children, Alphazed built the smartest Arabic learning platform in the world. All stories and educational content are written by Lamis, ensuring pedagogical excellence in every experience.
Today, Alphazed apps are used by families in over 50 countries. Our products cover everything from first Arabic letters to Quran recitation, school curriculum, speech therapy, and UK curriculum-aligned Math and English — all powered by AI speech recognition and adaptive gamification.
Our Technology
Alphazed is the first AI-led, language-agnostic platform for transforming any curriculum into its gamified digital twin, end-to-end. Our platform takes curriculum as input and outputs gamified content using a custom AI engine.
We developed the first smart and automated lip-syncing technology for the Arabic language. Our apps feature cutting-edge speech recognition that corrects pronunciation in real time, and the Bloom methodology that personalizes content as each child plays — encouraging discovery and curiosity over memorization.

Born in Syria and completed his education and work in the UK, Mohammad specializes in smart educational platforms for children. He has worked across France, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Britain, bringing deep expertise in AI and gamification to the Arabic education space.

Co-Founder, Content & Design
An award-winning Arabic Literacy teacher, architect by degree, and UI/UX Designer and Gamification specialist for children based in London. Lamis writes all stories and content for the Alphazed apps, ensuring every learning experience is both educationally rigorous and delightfully engaging.
