Daily Challenges and Competitions in Amal

Learning, curiosity, competition, and fun in Arabic language learning with Amal's daily leaderboards.

Engagement

We don't want Amal to be an ordinary app. Therefore, every day, there's a competition leaderboard for children with each other within the same age group.

200 points are waiting for your child every day!

At the end of each day, there are always rewards for the top 3 children with additional points they can use in the store to buy new characters and avatars! Starting from 200 to 100 to 50 additional points! Every day! This gamified approach keeps children motivated and engaged while learning Arabic. The friendly competition encourages consistent practice and makes learning a social, enjoyable experience. Children can see their progress on the leaderboard and strive to improve their ranking through dedicated learning.

How the Daily Competition Works

Each day, Amal presents a fresh set of challenges designed to test and reinforce Arabic language skills. Children within the same age group compete to earn the most points by completing vocabulary exercises, pronunciation tasks, letter recognition games, and interactive story activities. The leaderboard resets daily, giving every child a fair chance to be among the top performers regardless of when they started using the app.

Rewards That Motivate

At the end of each day, the top three children receive bonus points: 200 points for first place, 100 for second, and 50 for third. These points can be spent in the Amal virtual store to unlock new characters, avatars, and accessories. This reward system creates a positive feedback loop where children are excited to practice Arabic because they see real results from their efforts. Even children who do not reach the top three still earn regular points for every activity they complete, ensuring that all learners feel recognized.

Healthy Competition Builds Consistency

The daily competition feature was designed based on research showing that friendly competition among peers can significantly boost learning motivation in children. By competing within their own age group, children face challenges that are appropriately matched to their developmental level. Parents can monitor their child's competition performance through the parent dashboard, celebrating daily achievements and encouraging continued practice. This combination of fun, competition, and education makes Amal a uniquely engaging platform for Arabic language learning.
